15 year old dying dog lives to see his precious human get married

Certainly, dogs are the absolute most loyal and gentle animals on earth. The connection between people and their four-legged friends is hard to describe in words. This beautiful tale is about the love, respect, and deep bond that people and dogs can share.

Kelly O’Connell and her precious puppy, Charlie the Bear, met 15 years ago. At the time, the 19-year-old was offering at a regional animal shelter in New york city State.

Charlie was just 12 weeks old when he got to the sanctuary because he was located frozen in a shopping cart. While Kelly wasn’t intending on adopting a canine at the time, when she saw the little guy, she recognized it had to happen. “He came in and I claimed, ‘Yeah. I’m going to take this puppy home,'” she recalls.

A couple of years later, Kelly, that additionally graduated from veterinary school, moved to Colorado, where she met James Gavin ( likewise a veterinarian). It was love at first sight, and soon after they met, they chose to move in together (and Charlie, of course). Not long after, Kelly and James decided to obtain married. Naturally, they want Charlie there also. But sadly, the 15-year-old dog was identified with a brain condition. He’s becoming worse and worse, he’s weak.

His human parents worried that he would not have the ability to exist on their wedding day. “I had actually made an appointment for a man to come to the house and we were going to euthanize him a week before the wedding because he had had 5 seizures and we resembled, ‘This is too much, I do not want to do this and don’t give it to him anymore, ‘” Kelly said!

Miraculously, a week prior to the wedding event, Charlie began to really feel much better. “In the end, it was almost like he was saying to himself, ‘No, I want to see this,'” the woman claimed. “He’s getting better. [He] Looks like a brand-new dog. “

Charlie did go to the wedding of his favored human being and the moment they shared was so touching. Fortunately, wedding digital photographer Jen Dziuvenis caught these beautiful scenes.

” There aren’t enough mascaras on the planet for these times,” says Jen. “This is what love looks like. A caring family, love animals … It’s the most moving demonstration I’ve ever before seen.”

A week later on, Charlie was euthanized and died peacefully in the company of his beloved family. Kelly and Jason will constantly remember him! “It’s been an extraordinary 15 years. That’s for sure,” Kelly said.
