Bristol cops reacted to a report of 4 dogs locked in a very hot car and left to look after themselves.

The policeman quickly transferred the Hound-mix canines to his cool patrol car and provided water. His timely responses saved their lives.

The owners of the dogs and car were gone for hrs. Thankfully these neglected puppies were discovered when they were and also transferred to an animal sanctuary for the time being.

In an update to the story, the police claim they have arrested the owners, 29-year-olds Carolyne Amanda Hartley and James Brian Hughes of Abingdon.
