A stunned tourist on a Thai highway caught a video of an elephant blocking traffic by stealing sugar cane from incoming vehicles.

In the footage, the elephant is seen tipping onto the road and delaying traffic so it may steal sugar cane from passing cars.

Auan-tia is a young elephant that has spent the majority of his life in a nearby sanctuary. The cars had no choice but to slow down and allow the young elephant investigate more.
