A tiny puppy, only weeks old is seen in a dirt lot, surrounded by garbage and debris. She has no shelter to speak of and definitely not a comfortable bed to snuggle in. The scorching sun is hot and the little black and white pup can not leave it. We can only assume the as the nights get chilly, dark, and lonely, it is much the same.

Inexplicably, she is tied down to big, heavy cinder blocks with a chain that weighs more than she does. She can barely hold up her head and is in pain from mange and internal parasites. Just a beast could force any animal, let alone a puppy to live in such deplorable conditions.

However, this pup, currently called Andie, obtained a very pleased finishing thanks to a rescue by PETA. Andie now has her very own loving, “furever” family. She is a much-loved pet with an indoor home.

At night, she snuggles in her actual own bed bordered by her many new toys. During the day, she has fun with her people and her cat brother or sisters, enjoying the life she has now, free from pain and loneliness.

As an animal lover, it’s hard to imagine what sort of person could do this to a puppy. Yet, there are people out there that commit these type of crimes every one of the moment. It depends on the rest of us to encourage adoption and spay and neuter to reduce unwanted litters.

Education and awareness of animal welfare are also important. Finally, consider supporting a pet rescue or organization of your choice to help canines like Andie get their own pleased story.
