UPDATE: The reward has now reached $25,000 for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the cruel abuse and abandonment of Argon, the German Shepherd who was dumped in a canyon in Malibu two weeks ago.
Argon had zip ties wrapped around his mouth and neck when hikers thankfully found him. He was abandoned in a remote location near Malibu Creek on July 3rd in scorching degree heat.
A $5,000 reward was initially offered by Peace 4 Animals (P4A) and In Defense of Animals (IDA), but has increased due to the public’s support.

July 9th: Yesterday, WAN reported on a German Shepherd named Argon, who was horrifically abandoned near Malibu Creek on July 3rd, with zip ties wrapped around his mouth and neck.
Peace 4 Animals (P4A) and In Defense of Animals (IDA) have offered a $5,000 reward, with an additional $2,600 reward added today, bringing the total to $7,600 for the successful conviction of the individual responsible for the cruel abuse and abandonment of Argon.
The gentle and sweet German Shepherd was found by two hikers in Malibu who managed to remove the zip tie from his mouth before police and animal control arrived to remove the zip tie from his neck. Argon is currently being cared for at The Agoura Animal Care Center and is undergoing tests for possible Lymphoma.
