A concerned passerby noticed a distressed puppy living in a pile of trash under a park bench. The small, frightened pup was cold, dirty, and visibly malnourished, clearly in desperate need of help. Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, the person shared a photo of the puppy online, asking for assistance—and that’s when the life-saving efforts began.
Ermioni, the founder of DAR Animal Rescue, was quick to respond to the call for help. Upon arriving at the scene, she found the puppy weak, shivering, and scared. Despite the difficult circumstances, the puppy allowed Ermioni to approach and comfort him. Concerned about the puppy’s health, she carefully wrapped him in a blanket and rushed him to an animal clinic for immediate care.
At the clinic, the puppy was found to be severely underweight and infested with ticks. The quick response from the rescue team ensured that the puppy received the medical treatment he needed to survive. He is now on the road to recovery, with the dedicated team at DAR Animal Rescue providing him with the care and attention he deserves.
