The 3 Year Old Kid Who Survived 2 Freezing Nights Claims That A Bear Helped Keep Him Warm
Even after searching their vast Ernul, North Carolina, property, the toddler wasn’t anywhere to be located. The grandmother called the cops, but no one was optimistic about finding the young boy alive in the middle of winter.
When the boy still had not been situated by end of the next day, Casey’s possibilities of survival appeared even slimmer. It’s freezing in North Carolina in the middle of January, as well as Casey had not been effectively clothed for such winter.
And after that, a miracle. 2 days after disappearing, Casey was located alive in a thicket of bushes. But also as the boy’s family marvels at his safe return, they question his creative tale of survival. According to the kid’s auntie, Breana Hathaway, the kid credited a friendly bear with keeping him cozy.
” Casey is healthy, grinning, and speaking,” Breana Hathaway wrote on Facebook. “He said he hung out with a bear for two days. God sent him a buddy to maintain him safe. God is (a) great God. Miracles do happen.”
Major David McFadyen from the Craven Region Sheriff’s Office also heard everything about Casey’s brand-new friend. “He made a comment regarding having a buddy while he was in the woods– his buddy was a bear,” McFadyen told CNN Monday. “In the emergency clinic he started talking about what happened in the woods, and he claimed he had a friend that was a bear with him while he was in the woods.”
Regardless of what happened, Casey’s community is understandably thrilled to have him home. “We are very happy he had that kind of comfort,” McFadyen claimed. “There were very brutal conditions out there. The opening night it fell to 20 degrees, the second evening we had 2 inches of rain.”
