After Surviving Brain Surgery, His Mom Gave Him A New Puppy Who’s Just Like Him
Fortunately, the surgery was a success and little Brandon made an extremely fast healing, despite his case being one in 50,000.
The Figueroa family, who resides in Nottingham, NH, then celebrated by welcoming a Boston Terrier puppy called Thanos into their home.
Branson and Thanos bonded immediately and quickly grew to be the best of friends.
But the family quickly realized that there was something off about Thanos. They brought him to their veterinarian who ran tests on Thanos and believes he may have hydrocephalus, a buildup of fluid that can cause brain damage, which is really similar to Branson’s case.
More tests are needed to see the severity of Thanos condition, however veterinarians believe he might require life-saving surgery to place a shunt in his head.
These tests, therapies and surgery are extremely similar to what his little human had to go via.
” I think God puts whatever into our life for a reason,” Branson’s mom told WMUR. “What are the odds of him having something and our son going through this, you recognize? It just doesn’t happen.”
