Stray animals battle daily. Just locating food and water is an ordeal.
Staying secure from the elements is one more everyday challenge. What many do not recognize is that there are people that consider stray animals to be ‘pests’ and will actually hurt them. It’s heartbreaking but it’s a truth in many countries that do not have laws against animal ruthlessness.
One young puppy, who did nothing to anybody, was struck multiple times by a man high on drugs. Her injuries came to be life-threatening.
When the puppy, later on named Leona, was located, she lay totally helpless on the sidewalk. She had infected ears, balance issues, and badly injured legs. She was in such bad shape that she couldn’t also stand. She was splayed out, waiting for somebody to save her.

Thankfully, someone did just that!
Leona, merely a baby, was required to the vet. The physician knew right away that she would require surgical treatment in order to survive. Leona was likewise in a lot of pain.
The doctor gave her IV pain medicine immediately. You can see Leona as she cried real tears. However thankfully, points were about to change!
Leona’s surgery went very well. It’s going to require time for her to recover however until now, she’s healing fast. She’s likewise with a caring caretaker (and animal rescuer) that plans to stop at nothing till she finds the perfect home. Allow’s send our prayers out to Leona! She deserves it!
