Border Collie Found Buried Alive Under Pile Of Rocks Gets Adopted By Rescuer
Last November, Charlotte was hiking with her husband in the Scottish Highlands when they heard a canine weeping and whimpering. They approached and found a seriously hurt border collie buried under a pile of rocks.
They immediately called Scottish SPCA for help.
Yvonne Sloss, one of the reacting inspectors for the Scottish SPCA, claimed she still has flashbacks of the heartbreaking moment she found Jake.
” When I saw Jake, I just felt shock, unhappiness and shock. His head was so swollen and he remained in such an awful state.”.
Rescuers didn’t believe the poor dog would certainly survive the evening. He arrived at Glasgow Animal clinic in a comatose state with extensive injuries.
But he defied the chances and pulled through.
After a complete exam, vets found Jake had skull cracks, a dislocated jaw, infection, and required to have one eye removed.
The wonderful boy received all the needed surgeries and then was taken in by Mark Greener, one more inspector involved in the case.
Greener said he met Jake on the initial week at work and said it was “a day I’ll never forget.” He immediately bonded with Jake and offered to foster him over the holidays. The recovering puppy started to trust Greener and both came to be inseparable.
Greener couldn’t imagine life without Jake, so he adopted him.
He explains his new pal as “caring, bouncy, and an incredible sook (charmer).” Jake and his new father thank all the fans for their part in saving his life. If Jake could talk he would say, “because of you I’m here, I’m secure, and I’m happy.”.
Fans of the animal charity hope the person or people in charge of the “shocking ruthlessness” are located and prosecuted. Someone wrote, “This is sickening! Just how can somebody do this! There requires to be a way to find out who did this!”.
Jake now invests his days going for walks and swimming, and finally has the happy finishing he is worthy of. See the video below to hear Jake’s full story and to see the love between the saved dog and his new dad.
