A traffic video camera has actually captured a spectacular picture of a snowy owl in full flight.
The picture above is one of a collection taken by a CCTV video camera on Highway 40 in the West Island of Montreal, on 3 January.
The Quebec Transport Minister, Robert Poetin, after that shared the photos on Twitter, composing: “Magnificent snowy owl picked up by surveillance cameras of the road network on the A-40 in the West of MTL.”

The snowy owl is a main symbol of Quebec and is protected from hunters in Canada, though birds are occasionally killed in collisions with cars, airplanes, and energy lines.
