It was a sloth! The long-limbed adventurer was spotted in Quevedo, Ecuador prior to being scooped up by local cops.

In one of one of the most lovable rescue missions ever, the sloth was taken to the veterinarian after being picked up by Ecuadorian traffic officers.

After appearing to be healthy, the officers took him back to the forest near where he was found.

Luckily for us, the officers took pictures and uploaded them on Facebook for us to enjoy.

Allow’s hope this sloth doesn’t try to cross the road again!
