A latest exploration of a dinosaur mummy left archaeologists in a weird sensation. It appears to be the best-protected dinosaur mummy that has ever been located, and this can be seen from its appearance which still has undamaged skin armor.

The fossil was found by accident while miners were drilling in Canada, and it is believed to be more than 110 million years old. The mommy was placed in the Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology in Alberta, Canada, and after careful examination, it was discovered that the skin hides the well-protected and unspoiled guts of the creature. This is something scientists have never ever seen before, and they did easily reconstruct the appearances of the dinosaur with the help of recent technology.

This appears to be a part of the Nodosauridae species, which were huge herbivores weighing 3,000 pounds. The recently located fossil weighs around 2,500 pounds so it is incredibly well secured even after countless years.

What added to its preservation are the minerals that were found on the dinosaur’s skin and armor that might come from the ocean. It is thought that the fossil sank in the ocean a very long time ago and this is the reason why it looks fresh long after its death.
