Stepan was found by some hunters in a forest and was in terrible condition. No one believed the bear would certainly make it through, however both decided to give him a possibility and took the bear to their house.
Surprisingly, the cub recovered, so the couple made the decision to provide him a permanent house and adopted him. Twenty three years later, Stepan still deals with them in their home in Moscow, Russia. He is now a part of the family, and the 3 also sit down in the evenings to see tv with each other!
Even though Stefan has actually never lived in the wild and is domesticated, a bear’s reaction can never be fully shut down. Keep in mind that bears are top killers that, therefore extremely dangerous. Even so, the couple said they have no fears regarding Stephan’s wild instincts. “He likes people and is a sociable bear– despite what people may think, he is not aggressive at all,” claimed Stefan’s human mother. “We have never been bitten by him.”
