Lilac the dog was attempting to survive with a broken jaw and a broken leg when a jogger in Atlanta, Georgia saw her cowering beneath a vehicle. Other dogs and unknown individuals had severely attacked the canine. However, when the Good Samaritan approached, she crawled out to greet them. It’s almost as if “she knew she was being saved.”

Additional veterinary examination revealed that, along with a badly wounded leg and fractured jaw, Lilac had stomach trauma caused by a bullet caught inside her! Despite her injuries, Lilac’s tail would wag anytime someone paid her attention. Lilac amazingly survived after a “touch-and-go” few days.
