Even With 4 Paralyzed Legs, Unwanted Pit Bull Still Kept His Fighting Spirit
It’s unknown what happened to him that caused this while he was homeless, but rescuers and vet team recognized that they would certainly do whatever they could to assist him.
Romeo quickly showed that his injuries did not break his spirit.
After weeks and weeks of physical therapy, Romeo miraculously began strolling again and after a month, he was currently running!
But Romeo had not been out of the woods yet. Staff noticed that his eyes were constantly tearing, and vets diagnosed him with Entropion, a condition where the eyelids are turned inward. Thankfully, he underwent a successful surgical treatment and his eyes were back to normal.
Although Romeo was a very loving and affectionate canine, the rescue had difficulty in locating him he best home. They did get some applications for him, however lots of families reconsidered adopting him after they learned about the unknowns that come with Romeo’s past injuries.
After four months of waiting, Romeo’s prayers were lastly answered. He found a loving permanently home!
