When Marine Matt Perella returned from deployment, he knew something did not really feel right. He was struggling with PTSD and he also had days when he really did not feel like going on with his life.

When he realized that he had actually reached that point, Perella decided that he needed to do something about it. He was determined to not just look for aid for the PTSD he was suffering from, however also to help other veterans.
