The stubborn beast in Nakhon Ratchasima, northern Thailand, delayed Nattawat Patsungsing for work by laying still for about 20 mins.

In order to avoid causing the magnificent Indian elephant to charge, Mr. Patsungsing, that was filming the animal from his automobile, had to stop from a distance and remain quiet.

You can see the animal’s legs and ears fluttering as it sleepily moves in and out of a deep slumber.

Finally, the elephant increases its trunk and bases on its back legs.

You can hear him saying in the video: “Oh boy … you’re taking the entire road. Can you please move, little boy? I truly have to go to work.”

Once the elephant named Nga-Thong stands, it keeps its eye on Mr. Patsungsing as he carefully reverses away.

Officials say that the elephant is often found lying on the concrete for heat in the colder seasons.

According to the motorist, wildlife officials in the area informed him that the elephant was called Nga-Thong, which equates to ” gold ivory” in Thai.

” Nga-Thong does not such as to expose himself when the road is busy with cars and loud buses, so most of the time it’s national park policemans that see him. They said he’s extremely shy.”

” I was waiting concerning twenty minutes until he finally got up. I was late for my change at work that day but I mored than happy to see him so close.”
