When this family noticed their tiny dog was spending much of his time in the business of a cow, they thought is not a big deal. However little did they know, the two were really sharing an extremely special bond. Sadly, they recognized exactly how strong the friendship between these 2 so different animals was, just when the time come for the cow to be sold off.
Rookie the dog got adopted by this family when he was just a puppy. The humans constantly liked him and took care of him, but it was one of the family’s cows that acted like a mother for the small puppy. The sensitive puppy located all the comfort he ever before require in his adoptive mother and the cow raised him and looked after him like he was his very own baby. So naturally, when the cow was loaded onto a truck ready to be sold off, Rookie was sad.
The sad canine barely hold his tears while howling and weeping when he recognized his friend is gone. He also chased the vehicle for some time, ignoring the owner’s callings and the man followed him and eventually brought him back. But the poor Rookie was in such a deep grief. Suddenly all his energy was gone, he even rejected to eat or to drink water. He was devastated!
Seeing his dog fading, the owner knew he had to do something, so he attempted to comfort Rookie in all the possible, but his efforts were done in vain. It is when he realized, there is only one thing that could restore happiness to the small dog– to bring his very best friend back. Therefore, the next day in the morning the man brought the cow back, because all he wanted was to his beloved puppy happy!
