It is constantly comforting to see people go out of their method to help a kid in need. That was the case lately when a man stopped a train to rescue a turtle’s life.

Serhat Topal is a tram driver from Turkey. He was going his normal route when he saw something amazing on the tracks: a turtle.

” It was a turtle trying to cross the tracks to land, but it was stuck,” Serhat told The Dodo. “I believe he was scared.”

Then Serhat did something amazing: he stopped the train, got out and did everything he could to help the turtle. He grabbed the animal to maintain it from being run over by incoming trains and also lifted it over the fence for safety.

Serhat said the turtle looked healthy and also left happily after getting to the other side. It was correct, however everybody who travels by train recognizes that passengers do not always appreciate a sudden delay.

However Turkey is understood for its citizens’ love of stray animals, and also when Serhat explained the circumstance to them, they understood: the driver claims they are “pleased since I helped them.”

” All living things are our buddies and we must approach them with love,” Serhat told The Dodo. “Everyone must consider this their duty. I simply did my duty. “
