21-year-old Hubert and Kalisa’s had some health problems because of age-related diseases. This had some effect on just how they live. Due to this, the zoo had to come up with a choice. In order to save the various other from dealing with the loss of its mate, the zoo chose to finish their suffering with each other. So they might be with each other eternally in the heavens.

Hubert was born in Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago whereas Kalisa came from Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. 6 years ago this indivisible couple concerned the zoo. Since the time of their arrival they were the star of the zoo. Simply their existence filled up the whole place with happiness and positivity. According to the director of the zoo, Kalisa was always near Hubert as they constantly stick together. Their love and bond they formed were special and biding farewell to them is heart-wrenching.

It is very sad that both of them are no longer with us. The only point that is relaxing is that they left with each other and they will be with each other forever.
